Mustard Seed Puppets

Mustard Seed Puppets started as an outreach ministry set up and run by Claire Wells and supported by St Lawrence Church. Since Claire started working for Fegans Child & Family Care the puppets are now part of her work remit.

What is ‘Mustard Seed Puppets’?

puppets Claire realised the potential of puppets in Christian Ministry when she first saw them at the Children’s Ministry Conference in Eastbourne in 2001.

Having bought her first puppets, she prayed and waited to see how a ministry would unfold.

Claire now has over 20 large, rod arm ‘Muppet Style Puppets’ and a wide range of other glove puppets and props which she uses to support others in their bible storytelling, songs and special messages.

Claire and the puppets have visited many local toddler groups and toddler services to support singing and story time with a Christian message. They have appeared at open air events, school assemblies, pre-school nurseries and family services. However, there are now different priorities to the scope of work.

puppetsSupporting Parent Toddler Groups

Claire offers a Christmas Tour to support story telling and toddler services at other churches and also provides the annual nativity presentation at Bidborough School Christmas Fair.

The Mustard Seed Puppets continue to be regular visitors to Tots & Co parent toddler group services.
