This parent toddler group offers an opportunity to meet other parents with babies and young children, to make friends and have a cup of coffee while your little ones make friends too. £2 per family - just turn up! Children's Play AreaAt the Recreation Ground St Lawrence ChurchVicar Rev Stephen Hills, (01892) 528081 Our beautiful little church is open during the day for quiet reflection and prayer or just a look around! A thriving church with lots of young families. Sunday morning groups for children from crèche upwards run in the school accommodation. Plus groups to suit teenagers including music group, youth club and 'youth cell'. First Sunday of the month in term time is Family Service starting at 11am. On other Sundays in term-time, the children go out to their groups. The youngest group is the 'Sparklers' which meets in Reception Class of Bidborough school. We also offer a crèche on those Sundays, called 'Gems'. In school holidays, children's specials are run for all ages together in the school hall. Bidborough Parish MagazineLook out for details of clubs and societies and Birchwood Association magazine. In addition, Bidborough News Sheets are produced independently by Phillip Codd. Available from Bidborough Stores for a donation to a chosen local charity. (The Birchwood and other local countryside with public footpaths - a wonderful advantage to living here.) Bidborough BrowniesBrownies meet on Thursday afternoons in the Village Hall, led by Tracy and Jess. Parade services are held at St Lawrence Church family service in term time (first Sunday of the month).. Rainbows(5 years+) run at Speldhurst, St Thomas' Southborough and in Tunbridge Wells. Beavers, Scouts and Cubs, etcAvailable locally but not in Bidborough.
